Mommy Scenes at School...

So for two weeks now I have been fetching Z to school and staying there for an unbelievable 3 hours. Actually, sometimes I’m thinking if this is really necessary as Z proved to be capable of staying at school on his own. But believe it or not, I love being able to wait for him at school. (more…)

Z’s First Few Days at School...

We have been going to school for two days now and so far Z has not been giving me any problems and is absolutely a good boy at school. Aside from the fact that he was taken aback by the number of kids on the first day of school which resulted to me sitting with him for about five minutes, things have been going smoothly. (more…)

School Opening Countdown...

In about three days Z will be going to school. He has to be there as early as 7:30 and will last for three hours but we have to be prepared  a little after 7am because that’s when his service will arrive. S and I will both be there to support him and I hope he won’t be startled with the number of children he will see at the school grounds. (more…)

School Opening Jitters...

It’s only a week from now since the beginning of Z’s first year in school. He is an incoming kinder at a nearby school just 10 minutes away from our home. We already completed our shopping for his uniform. We didn’t buy him school supplies because these are included in his tuition. If his short summer classes will be a basis, I think Z will love his school. It was already reflected in his entrance examination – yes, they have an entrance exam there where they have to be tested in four subjects. (more…)

Changes...

So many updates again. To start off the maid I hired left two weeks ago for her enrollment at her school. She said she’ll be back by May 2 and will resume working till the end of May. The original plan was she would be here for two months straight which will give us enough time to find a replacement but as we all know things don’t usually go as planned and she had to say goodbye unexpectedly.
