So You Don’t Have to Wonder How your Order A...

When we fetch my hubby at Eastwood we always wait for him at KFC. That’s the closest fastfood  from his office that Z likes to eat from. I was already familiar with that KFC branch there but last time I visited I was surprised to see this in front of me.

You know how it was when you’re at the cashier ordering your food and the crew behind the counter starts pressing  down some keys? I always wonder what she types or if she was typing the right order. Now I don’t have to wonder anymore because they have installed an LCD in front of the customer while they are ordering. I was able to verify that my order was correct and I can check if they have added it right. I’m really impressed they’ve upgraded their equipment even their receipt printer to make the receipt more understandable and readable. These little things I’m sure their customers will appreciate and will feel more valued. I hope other fast food chains follow suit. I think they are the first ones that did this but I’m not in the position to say because we don’t get to eat out often. Have you seen this installed in other fast food outlets?

Here’s Why I Love Eastwood...

Dogs everywhere! Eastwood is a dog-friendly place and we need more places like this. We love taking our one-year old shih tzu, Chewee, on our road trips but already more than once we have found ourselves stuck in a situation where we brought our dog somewhere and then realized upon arriving there that he’s not allowed inside. Last time that happened was when we went to Trinoma for my husband’s birthday. We went there straight from Laguna after visiting my mom and Chewee was with us. It totally crossed our mind that dogs are not allowed inside Trinoma mall. Poor Chewee and Bam had to wait outside while we celebrated S’s birthday. We were meeting S’s siblings so we can not cancel it just like that. I really hope they open more areas for dogs.

New Year at Eastwood...

We decided to greet the New Year at Eastwood, Libis. If Eastwood City was already easy on the eyes during the day it’s simply breathtaking at night. Lights are all over the place – hanging on the trees, on the buildings, etc. It’s really a far cry from the chaos that we normally see in Metro Manila.
There was a party with different bands and singers entertaining the people but that was at the other part in front of Eastwood Mall. It was already full to the brim with people from different places who have the same idea so we went to Central Park and dined at Fazoli’s. While waiting for the stroke of midnight we took some photos of ourselves.
