Apple Bottoms...

Ever since Beyonce invented the term, bootylicious, women around the world have been trying to copy her signature bottom. Unfortunately, not all women are blessed with her ample bottom. Good thing there are clothes that give you that illusion.

Take apple bottoms, for example. Singer, Nelly, designed this jeans to give women that more pleasant look. It’s secret is in the cut and shape of the apples – thus the name, apple bottoms, in the rear pocket of the jeans. It became such a success that they have now expanded to other clothing items like miniskirts and tops.

I really like the apple pockets trademark. It has a hypnotizing effect – once you see it you can’t take your eyes off it. hehe

Singing Lessons...

Hubby was trying to learn the song, Great God, for his audition for the church band. When Z heard it he liked the song so much that he promptly got his guitar so he can “play” alongside Daddy. I wanted to contribute something so I tried teaching Z the lyrics. So we spent an hour trying to learn this song.  Every day I would ask him to sing it to me and correct him if he misses a word.  Then just this afternoon Z was trying to wake up his Dad and he was already running out of ideas how to wake him from his afternoon nap.  Suddenly, he sang “Great God” and this time he got all the lyrics perfectly!  I’m so happy for him for a job well done.  Now, I can’t wait to capture him in a video so I can share it to the world.

My Holy Seat Gift Pack...

I made a review about Holy Seat a couple of months ago. Moms who have toddlers or little kids know how inconvenient it is when their kids have to use the toilet. I often cringe when I see my son sit on the dirty toilet. Even though I already wiped it with tissue I know it’s simply not enough. When I discovered Holy Seat I knew my problems with toilet seats were over that’s why I made a post about it.  Then a couple of weeks ago I was surprised when I received an email from someone from Holy Seat. I was even more delighted when I received a box today filled with Holy Seat products! Now it will be a while before I run out of Holy Seat in my bag. Thank you, Holy Seat!

Social Security Benefits...

Employees who have worked for a long time and are now nearing their retirement age are looking forward to a peaceful and stress free life. This is the time they enjoy the last few years of their life in retirement. This is also the time they start receiving their social security benefits.

They can only receive this once they get to their full retirement age. In the US, the full retirement age depends on what year you were born. Those who were born from 1960 onwards, the full retirement age is 67 while those born in 1937 or earlier they can begin receiving retirement benefits at the age of 62. If you wait until you’re 70, however, then you will be entitled to more monthly benefits.

Deciding whether you’ll retire early or wait until you’ll get the full benefits you’re entitled to, however, is up to you.  If you still enjoy your job then by all means wait until you’re 70 but if not and you want to rest from your job then you can also retire early.
