Z and His Bible
Not only once did I catch him all alone scanning the children’s Bible. I’m so happy he’s taking an interest as he’ll surely learn a lot of valuable lessons there.

Alone at Sunday School at Last
Finally, after two years since we first introduced him to the concept of Sunday school Z finally relented and attended it without a single tear. Thanks to my hubby for all the effort in teaching him everyday about the stories in the Bible that Z finally saw how important it is for him to attend Sunday School and not tag along with Mommy and Daddy at grownup church.

In The Honor Roll
I’m so happy Z’s exams are finally over! It’s the final exams I’m talking about and Z was included in those who took the advance exams for students that are candidates for honors. I have no idea what his place in his class is because the school has a policy of not giving out the honor rolls in the first, second, and third quarter. They will only surprise us during the recognition. Oh well, maybe a few days before their Recognition Day or moving up day. I’ve been trying to guess what his place would be and although I want him to be in the top one or two I already think those slots would be occupied by the two girls from his class. You know how girls can be more studious than boys and more industrious too so I guess we can say bye-bye to the top one and two. That leaves us with top three, four, and five. I don’t even know if they give awards to the top six and so on. Oh, I don’t really have a guess. I think I’m going to faint when they finally announce as I can’t believe my son made it even without me hovering behind his back.
Don’t laugh at me I know I’m talking like he’s already graduating because he is just in Kinder for goodness sake. LOL! Anyway, I’m so happy we can put Kinder behind. Time flies so fast that pretty soon he’ll be in college. Do you think he’ll become a doctor studying about mesothelioma treatments, a musician fulfilling his father’s dream, or a heart-attack inducing race car driver?
Class Picture
Z came home today and was excited to show me something. It was their very first ever class picture. I looked at it right away and was relieved he looked great! He was not frowning in the picture. He immediately told one of his classmate was a fake. It turned out she was absent when that picture was taken but thanks to technology she was magically added to the picture. I can’t believe my eyes when I saw it. Sure, I hear about photoshopping pictures all the time done in magazines but it never occurred to me that they were also doing it in class pictures.
Anyway, I’m so happy with his Kinder class picture so this weekend I’m going to buy a picture frame so I can display it in our home. I will also look for tv stands to replace our old one. I’ve been thinking of buying one for a long time of because what we have at home doesn’t go well with our furniture anymore. I need a darker colored tv stand that would match our center table.
