The other day we got the shock of our lives. Our eldest was playing at the nearby church. We thought everything was alright when suddenly we heard his bloodcurdling scream.
I know our blood pressure must have shot up even if we didn’t have a sphygmomanometer at hand. He was crying so loudly that I was expecting the worst.
It turned out he tripped while playing and had a huge bump on his forehead. Blood was gushing down and he was preventing it from going to his eyes with his hands. Good thing I remembered wound from the face can result to more blood loss but nothing to panic because it’s not enough to cause damage to the body. Had I not known that I would have panicked too like my husband.
I led him to the sink and washed away his blood. I tried to stop it with cotton. And then I got ice to reduce the swelling.
Now thank goodness he looks as good as new.

That’s my secret on how I got this smile. So now we’ll see more pictures of my big boy. He’s going to be six years old, by the way, in a week! Wow, time flies fast, doesn’t it?
