Surviving Motherhood Managing The House

Being a full time mom is hard work, especially if you have to do all the housework yourself aside from taking care of the kids. While it can be rewarding because you get to spend most of your time with your kids, sometimes, I wonder how a lot of moms do it, what’s their secret? How do they get through the day?

I never understood how they manage to survive, until I finally became a mom myself. And although it really is very hard, I later learned that with proper time management and the use of efficient, easy to handle tools like the Lady Bug vapor steam cleaner, I can conveniently clean the house, finish all the chores and be able to spend time with my kids more.

Goodbye Couch Potato Lifestyle

I’m so happy with my eldest son’s progress. Two weeks ago, his Dad started training him to play basketball. Of course, he is only 7 years old so my husband is trying to keep everything fun. He has even started playing basketball again so that his son can see him play in action.

As a result, Z is loving his new sports. He is a very interested student and keeps trying even though he is already tired. Just this morning he was able to shoot the ball four times! There was an unexpected benefit that we gained from all this – for years he has been sloping his shoulders but after just two weeks of playing his posture is already improving!

What we have learned from this experience is if you want your kids to take up any sports like basketball or even playing protostar yoyo the parents have to serve as a model to them. We can’t teach them to be active and sporty if we don’t do it ourselves. That’s why my husband and I are effectively saying goodbye to our old couch potato lifestyle and saying hello to an active one.
