All I Want for Christmas is a Tablet
We already have an iPad but I want another one. Well, it’s technically not mine and my hubby is already complaining that I have been using it more than him. I am guilty as charged but I have an excuse. How can I possibly turn on the laptop while homeschooling my eldest? I can’t turn it on either when looking after my youngest who is only 10 months old. But I can browse the net using the iPad with no problem while Z is studying his lessons or while keeping one eye on Zack.
The tablet is really a must have for busy moms like me. I still can’t leave without my laptop but I use the tablet about 80% of the time. If ever I have the funds to buy one this Christmas I’ll choose the Asus Tablet PC with the slider keyboard so I can type a short blogpost anytime I want. Now if only my Santa is reading this… LOL!

Time really flies fast especially if you’re always at home. That’s what my hubby told me the other day and I couldn’t agree more. This year, December will be different because we will be celebrating one more birthday in our family – our youngest son’s first birthday. I think it will be changed forever because instead of looking forward to Christmas we will be looking forward to his birthday first.
If there’s one thing I’m regretting it’s the fact that our kids’ birthdays are too close to the holidays. We all know that Christmas is the most expensive time of the year with the non-stop gift giving of gifts, food, money, and holiday gift baskets to our friends and family. So you can imagine how much our budget would take a beating with one kid celebrating his birthday on December 2nd, another on January 14th, and my hubby’s birthday on New Year’s day itself. Hmm, maybe family planning does not only mean taking the years apart but also the months apart in consideration. What do you think?
Read MoreDo You Really Want to Work at Home?
We have been officially a work-at-home couple for more than a month now. The truth is it takes some getting used to. Our house was chaotic during the first few weeks but we have finally settled down and have fallen into our own routines. Although we are comfortable with our set-up I must warn that working at home is not for everyone so I don’t advice you to leave your office job right away.

Read MoreWhat I Learned from Brangelina’s Parenting Style
We’re back from our mini-vacation! It’s refreshing to take a break for a while. Internet connection was super slow at their place so I had the chance to be offline for two days. Of course I didn’t get any rest because our baby refused to stay at one place! He is a fast crawler too so I don’t dare take my eyes off him or else he’ll grab anything he gets his hands on – whether that’s a toy to a Banner stand, I tell you nothing is too heavy for this little boy!
Now out of the blue while waiting for my hubby to finish his work I realized that I can learn something from Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s parenting style. According to the news, they have this rule that when one of them is working on a movie the other parent would have to stay at home with the kids. Like right now, Brad Pitt is shooting a movie so Angie is often seen out with the kids taking them to see movies or to eat out.

So now I have banned myself from working until hubby finishes his shift in the afternoon. I really can’t do much work anyway being busy with the baby and homeschooling so I might as well stop myself from turning on the laptop completely until hubby is already available to take care of them. If he is too tired then I will just have to wait until they sleep at night.
Anyway, wish me luck! I might have to peek for a minute or two but no work for me during the day starting now.
