My dad has his own furniture shop. He has been selling furniture for the past 20 years. I encouraged him to sell online because more and more people are shopping via the internet. He insists he doesn’t want to learn it so my husband and I decided to take the matter in our own hands and start an online store.
The first thing we did was to take pictures of the furniture and then we signed up under a free ecommerce site and uploaded the pictures there. We thought it would be a breeze but we were quite wrong! It was hard work and since we were also caught up with our own work we neglected it in the long run.
We’re not giving up though and from our experience we have already learned a thing or two about setting up our own online business.
Opening your own business, even an internet-based one, requires hard work. You need to spend time and effort to learn the ins and outs of the business and to learn all you can about your product before you can start selling them.
If you are really serious about your business then you have to invest money in it. Your real estate here is your website. Its design can either turn off or invite people to check out and even buy what you offer. There are a lot of ecommerce solutions that can help you from the start up to finish. They cost some money but for sure this is a worthwhile investment.
Sometime in the future we will reopen our online business and we hope that this time we are going to be successful like the thousands (or is it millions already) of online sellers that are already making a living out of it.

Amazon Kindle Fire Cheapest Tablet at $199 is Perfect for Kids and Students
Amazon’s Kindle Fire has finally been unveiled and my guess is that it will indeed rival Apple’s iPad! I’m pretty sure parents will be scrambling to get their kids one of this for Christmas.
In a surprising move, Amazon added its own browser called the Amazon Silk which uses Cloud computing technology. They say that this makes the newest Kindle with the fastest browser. That coupled with its original purpose of being an ebook reader makes it a really powerful device especially for the students.
My husband and I already have an iPad that we use for work. What we haven’t foreseen was my son borrowing it all the time to play his favorite games. Just the other day I have been looking for a cheaper alternative to give my son. Now I don’t have to look any further because Amazon’s Kindle Fire is only $199. If we want something cheaper, we can also get the eBook Reader which is only $80 in price. The former is perfect for my son’s needs to browse the internet, read his favorite books, and play his games and because it is only 7 inches it will fit his hands perfectly too. At this moment I can already imagine how many parents will be buying this gadget for their children this Christmas. It is not coming out until November 15th but that’s still too early for Christmas.
This newest tablet to hit the market can access millions of ebooks in Amazon.com, store 100,000 films and 17 million songs in just a click of a button. The iTunes is not as user friendly so this is plus points to Amazon.
The Amazon Kindle Tablet was unveiled by Amazon Founder, Jeff Bezos.
It is a 7 inch tablet that will let you download ebooks, music, games, and can browse the internet via WiFi.

My husband just bought a new laptop. It has all the specs that he wants and more! Needless to say, he was happy with his purchase and promptly took a picture. While he was shooting my youngest got curious and went to see what was going. It resulted to this very nice picture.
I am glad happiness isn’t only reserved for the wealthy because if that is the case then only 20% of the population will be happy!

Four years ago, we moved out of our parent’s house, rented our first apartment, and bought our first set of appliances. We bought a refrigerator, air conditioner, clothes washer, gas range, and TV. Just a year ago, we were fortunate to be able to move into our own house. We were ecstatic to finally say goodbye to paying monthly rent but pretty soon we discovered that having your own home meant no more landlord to foot the bill for home repairs. The water is supposed to go straight to a container at the back but for some reason it’s not going there so I might have a contractor look it over. I am estimating that the repair will cost at least $100. I don’t have an extra $700 for repairs and frankly, I’d rather spend that for something the kids need.

If its covered by warranty they would fix it or even replace it with a new one and all I need to do is pay their trade service call fee which can be $60, $100, or $125 depending on our plan.
If only I had thought of signing up for affordable home warranties as early as last year then we would have already saved a lot of money but I’m glad this year I would be saved from the hassle of looking for a reputable contractor and worrying about the cost the next time something breaks.

His millions of fans worldwide need not to worry now because he was quick to say that he and Selena still has no plans of tying the knot, “One thing…I’m not looking to get married now.”
