A Family that Works together Stays Together

Posted by on Aug 19, 2011 in Mixed Bag | 0 comments

Working with my husband is so much fun. He is really a smart guy and I’m not saying it just because he’s my husband. For instance, I have tried learning all about SEO stuff to gain traffic to my blogs to no avail but my husband, who has just been learning this a week ago is already teaching me. Just this afternoon he thought me how important it is to optimize keywords to gain more traffic. For example, if your blog ranks for lingerie teddies then don’t just leave it like that. Instead do all you can to make it stronger in the search engines. Anyway, I’m happy that we’re finally seeing eye-to-eye. Before he had no interest in these and I felt alone but now we’re both learning together. I know they say that a family that prays together stays together but for me, it’s so much fun if you’re working together too.

Banapple Menu, Branches, Delivery

Posted by on Aug 11, 2011 in Food, Mixed Bag | 0 comments

It’s a wonder how Banapple was able to capture the hearts (and stomachs of course) of many people in its three years of existence. I was at Il Terazzo mall the other day and the mall was bare except for a few people here and there. It was a different sight though when we got to the second floor of that mall. It was full packed and all the people were dining at Banapple. Since I have heard rave reviews about the store I immediately joined the crowd and ordered a Banoffee pie of my own. The taste was amazing and I have been a fan ever since.

If you are dying to taste the newest craze in pastries in Manila then check out these branches:

206 & 225 Katipunan Ave., Blue Ridge, QC
(02) 4392675

2nd Level Il Terrazzo
Tomas Morato Cor Sct Madrinan,
South Triangle, QC
(02)4382675

Ayala Triangle Gardens
Ayala Ave, Makati City
(02)7562675

I am not sure if they are delivering at this point though so better call them up if you want some and can’t go to the nearest branch.

Conversation Coasters

Posted by on Aug 5, 2011 in Helpful Tips | 0 comments

We usually entertain friends in our home. It’s usually just hubby’s friends and our church mates. I like the company because I’m always stuck at home with just the kids but sometimes we can run out of topics to discuss! LOL! That’s why I want to buy this novelty drink coasters not just for decoration and to keep those water stains away but for conversation pieces too. I’m planning to put my kids’ pictures as design. Of course I’m a mom so it’s just natural for me to boast about my kids.  What I like about these coasters is they have lots of designs to choose from. You can order different designs for different occasions so that you always have something to talk about when you have visitors over. LOL!

Work-from-Home Journey Starts in a Week

Posted by on Aug 5, 2011 in Work-at-Home | 0 comments

We are so excited to start our work from home journey! I have been enjoying its benefits for the past three years now but as I’ve said in my previous post, my husband will start working from home too. It will be his last week in the office and he will officially start on the 15th. I’m glad he has passed the interview on skype. When his employer asked that he and his business partner ask him some questions he was initially nervous. We have never used Skype ever so he had to check out some free demo conference calls to see how it works. Thank God that’s over now. They are already finished with the contract signing and we’re anxiously waiting for his new job to start. I hope it goes out well. Can you send us some luck here?
