Being a parent, I am, most of the time, frantic about what my children are up to and want to do. Sometimes, I become so protective to the extent that even a sleep over with friends a few block away is a no-no for me. But I came to a realization one day that you cannot be so uptight unless you want your child to go against you.
Well, most parents would probably agree sometimes, some of the most out-of-this-world thoughts just enter our minds when our children are off to somewhere. Accidents are always lurking and bound to victimize someone and that certainly creeps me out as a parent. But when I learned there was an emergency assistance for those who are traveling, somehow, I calmed down.
Now I can say my child will be safe whenever he travels somewhere because there is always an emergency service I can call during unexpected times.
yeah i agree, even if im still single. we just want the best for the child.
