I Want Roadside Assistance
Experiencing a car break down in the middle of the road is no fun. That was what we experienced for the first time a month ago. In times like that we would give anything for a roadside assistance. Having worked in an account a few years ago offering roadside assistance I know that it’s a pretty convenient service. You get the help that you need when you need it.
If only we can afford this spanking 2010 Mazda 2 that we saw displayed at Megamall. *sigh
I would like to have one but just look at the price tag. I’m not sure what year we’ll have that kind of money! LOL!

Champorado with a Twist
Is your child tired of the usual champorado for breakfast? My little Z sure is that’s why he gave me this idea to liven up his champorado breakfast.

Smiling Champorado
“Mommy, I want this on my champorado,” Z told me one morning upon seeing a smiling champorado in a magazine. I figured why not? So the next day I made sure that he wakes up with the smile on his face.

This is so easy to prepare, just mix powdered milk with water and sugar, pour slowly, and voila – a happy meal for Z. He saw the milk was starting to run so he finished it so fast that he had time enough time left for a second serving (before going to school). This time he wanted a sad face so we obliged.

Z mimics the sad champorado. hehe
Looking for a Children’s Bible
Daddy and Z have exhausted all the Bible stories in Z’s children’s Bible so last weekend they went to hunt for a new Bible with more stories that they could use in their nightly Bible study ritual.

Our first stop was National Bookstore. They have three shelves full of Bible for the kids but none satisfied both Dad and Z. It’s either the illustrations are awful or the stories are too short and too few for my 5 year old.

We were about to leave when there beyond my reach at the top most shelf was a big and thick children’s Bible – thicker and bigger than netbooks I tell you – but with nice illustrations to boot. Aside from it having lots and lots of stories it has interesting facts about the persons and places in the Bible. It was love at first sight for me. I really love books and this Bible was no exception. I didn’t care that it was a bit tattered on the edges plus there were no saleslady nearby to ask if there was a new stock – what’s wrong with National I can’t seem to find the salesladies anywhere the last few times I’ve been there – so hubby put it back in the shelf.

We decided to go to Powerbooks to check on their stocks but if they’re customer service was better than the former their choices are even more limited.
So we went home empty handed that day but I hope we can find a good Bible fit for our growing boy soon.

I was doing some blog hopping when I was again inspired by one blog. How I wish my blog is as beautiful as his. *sigh Anyway, that blog got me itching and I’m thinking of changing my template again! The only thing stopping me is the fact that it’s just too tedious adding the plugins, widgets, and the html codes I’ve inserted here and there in this current template. If I don’t have my plate full this instant I would surely have gone ahead with the change.
Anyway, I have learned something since I started blogging. Before it took me hours to find the perfect template but what I did everytime I chance upon a nice looking blog I quickly check to see where he/she got the template. I go to that particular site and I bookmark it. Now, after a few months of doing that I have a nice collection of websites that offer free but still beautiful wordpress templates which I’ll be sharing with you today.
- Design Disease
- LeadCamp
- Savvy Web Design
- WP Daddy
- Top WP Themes
- Free WordPress Themes
- WordPress Rocks
- WP Theme Shop
No plans on changing your blog’s template today? Then just bookmark the links and you’ll find it handy when you need it in the future.
P.S.
This was a scheduled post and I really can’t resist the urge to change so I have a brand new magazine style template! I’m so in love with my template that I just stare at it sometimes. LOL! Yes, you can call me crazy now. hihi
Read MoreAt Wendy’s
We usually eat out at Megamall after church. Agreeing on the same fastfood is usually a problem. Daddy wanted to eat at Sbarro while Z insisted on Wendy’s. I told Daddy he can take out food from Sbarro so off he went. A few minutes later he came back apparently turned off from the long queue. So Z got his way and the three of us ended eating at Wendy’s again. If I got my way I would have eaten at Goldilocks. I really miss their dinuguan. Yum, yum!
Anyway, after filling our stomachs with chicken, fries, and burger we gamely posed for a shot.
