We decided to greet the New Year at Eastwood, Libis. If Eastwood City was already easy on the eyes during the day it’s simply breathtaking at night. Lights are all over the place – hanging on the trees, on the buildings, etc. It’s really a far cry from the chaos that we normally see in Metro Manila.
There was a party with different bands and singers entertaining the people but that was at the other part in front of Eastwood Mall. It was already full to the brim with people from different places who have the same idea so we went to Central Park and dined at Fazoli’s. While waiting for the stroke of midnight we took some photos of ourselves.
Here is my helper, Bam. She’s the one who helps me so I can work and update my blogs and visit your blogs too.
Of course, that’s Chewee. Or should I see that’s his blurred version. He didn’t want to have his picture taken.
That’s Z attempting to keep Chewee still so we can finally get a clear shot. Nice try, Z. LOL!
and Z was amazed.
I keep telling him it’s his Daddy’s birthday that’s why there are fireworks. So in this photo he must be thinking how everyone must love his Daddy to be celebrating like this. hehe
It was time to go but look who behaved at the last minute.

It doesn’t look that crowded there. We live near Eastwood, just 10-15 minutes away by car, the view of the fireworks would have been great if the buildings surrounding our view were not blocking it.
Sounds and looks like a great place to spend and bond with family sis.
Sharing how we Welcome 2010. Have a blessed Sunday!
We wanted to go there too.. but the guys in our family voted no because they were scared of the traffic.
Happy New Year!
ooh i love the last photo! good health and more wealth for the family. Cheers 2010!

I agree at how beautiful Eastwood is during the day and how lovelier the place is at night •
Pixel Bug Weekend ☮.♥.☆
Happy 2010 Paula, I wish you the very best this new year and may you be blessed with lotsa love and success!
Happy new year! I’ve only been to Eastwood at night once, and I have to agree, it’s a nice place to be at at nighttime
We’ve always just spent new year’s at home with the family, I was just telling my parents that maybe next year we can just bring everyone to Eastwood for the fireworks, that’s gotta be less expensive than buying our own fireworks like what we’ve done for the past two years or so!
whatta great way to celebrate new year! d rin kami sa house nag-celebrate (for a change.hehehe).
belated Happy Birthday to Sander!
