I Finally Got My Credit Card!

Okay, not me but my husband. LOL!

Still, we’re one and the same and whatever is his is mine so that means it’s also my credit card.

We’re having a blast using it. The moment it arrived in the mail the first thing I did was go on a shopping spree!  I’m kidding! I finally verified my Paypal account. Finally, I can already withdraw my earnings after two years of blogging. Yehey! Oh wait, I have used most of it on my online purchases so there’s nothing really to withdraw at the moment. Argh!

Now, we’re still getting used to the idea of buying something without paying cash. No, nothing really fancy just some grocery and stuff and little things that I can still add up in my head.  Anyway, we have to be really careful because I’ve heard a lot of people getting buried with credit card debt. We’re really allergic to debt that’s why it took us this long to finally get one – and of course the fact that we kept getting denied for some reason! hahaha

Congratulations! A CC can be a best friend if used wisely and your worst nightmare if abused. If there’s an advantage I could think of, you book the Cebu Pacific trips..:) I have 5 cards myself. One for booking trips, 1 for grocery, 1 if we’re abroad and 2 for emergencies. Proud to say that only the grocery card is the only one with balance. :) Still best to pay cash when you can.

That’s true, a lot of our loan applicants for housing are getting denied because of past credit card performance. You wouldn’t believe how some just “forget”.
