Earthquake

The news about the Haiti earthquake and its recent 6 magnitude aftershock left me with fear that this might happen to us. In fact, my husband has been carrying a whistle in his pocket for some months now in case something unthinkable – like him being trapped in a collapsed building – would happen. I’m really worried for his safety because he works in an office building and I have no clue if it’s one of the metal buildings that can withstand earthquakes. I hope and pray that this would never happen again to anyone anywhere. It’s really so heartbreaking and I wish the Haitians will be able to survive this tragedy.
