We just got our car and it has its advantages like us traveling more often, visiting our relatives whenever we want to, and just our overall convenience when on the road. Unfortunately, traveling a lot also makes us more prone to road accidents. We haven’t had a travel emergency but that doesn’t mean I’m not worried. After all, the city I’m living in is infamous for its reckless drivers.
We do everything to make sure we’re safe but, obviously, there are factors beyond our control. That thought from taking the driving seat sometimes. I know it’s absurd because so many people are on the road every day and only a few are involved in accidents. Plus the fact that we are both cautious drivers and we ask God’s help each time we go out. I’m sure the day will come when we will be worry free and confident on the road. I hope it will be sooner than later.
Unfortunately, there will be things out of our control during driving… as much as we try to be careful.
Every time I get behind the wheel, I pray to get to my destination alright.. I also imagine myself getting there and putting my bag at the backseat. Cellphones are a big distraction.
