A Delightful Birthday Party at Saisaki, Dad’s, and Kamayan
A few weeks ago we attended a birthday party at Saisaki, Dad’s, and Kamayan. It was the longest birthday party we’ve ever attended. If a Jollibee or McDonald’s party last two hours long this party went on for, I think, four hours! It was complete with a magician and a personal appearance of not one, but two mascots – Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The fun just went on and on for the kid. Z, who’s normally shy had to overcome his shyness because the host just gives away too many goodies that he didn’t want to miss out. If he normally didn’t want to have his face painted, well he tried it here for the first time.

We have been monitoring the news and I’m getting scared by the minute. According to PAGASA, Bagyong Santi is going hit Rizal and NCR directly. With the ground still saturated and the dams still full of water from the previous storms I know that this puts us in a dangerous position. At this point, any normal typhoon can bring flooding to the Metro but this is no ordinary typhoon. Some are even comparing it to Milenyo and I distinctly remember Milenyo.
