Approximately six months ago, we bought Z a MegaSketcher. For those who don’t know what it is, it looks like this:

Megasketcher
It started after reading from another blog, forgive my memory but I forgot whose blog it was, and was amazed how her daughter drew beautiful things courtesy of the Megasketcher. Her little two-year old daughter’s drawings were a beauty and I was already wondering how I could have benefited from such an amazing toy if I had that as a little girl. “Could I have been the next Michaelangelo?” I wondered. Sorry, I was pushing it, wasn’t I?
To make a long story short, I knew right then and there that it was something Z has to have – ASAP. So off we went to the mall. And there it was the Megasketcher. It’s price tag – P800.00. S thought I was out of my mind. I, on the other hand, was adamant he couldn’t see what I was looking at. While he was looking at the price tag I was looking at its endless possibilities. He was looking at a toy while I was looking at a canvass. hihi
It was evident we were not meeting eye-to-eye but one of the perks of marrying a nice guy is he doesn’t have the word “no” in his vocabulary. So instead of saying no he told me, “It’s up to you.” In a flash, I bought the Megasketcher. At home, I was giddy with excitement as I opened it. I told Z it was mine so he’ll take care of it. He said yes and borrowed it. I looked away for a minute and when I glanced back it was already broken.
To be continued…
