So for two weeks now I have been fetching Z to school and staying there for an unbelievable 3 hours. Actually, sometimes I’m thinking if this is really necessary as Z proved to be capable of staying at school on his own. But believe it or not, I love being able to wait for him at school. Z trusts that I would be there when his classes are over and I’m happy to be right there with him. My husband approves and I have someone here to do the chores for now so might as well take advantage of my free time while I can. Thank goodness there are mothers to accompany me and with their stories they make the time go by quickly. Yesterday, someone brought finger food which we feasted on. Today, if it weren’t for the storm signal which meant no classes for the kiddies, I would have brought some food too. I volunteered to bring something and the others gamely followed and it was not finger food this time. Yes, the others were supposed to bring rice and stuff! Aren’t we crazy for thinking of having a picnic of our own right at the school ground? Yes, it’s a little bit crazy but it’s better than sitting around with no one to talk to, right? But not every time is spent on chit chat because I also brought with me my transcription work at school and I was able to work there amidst the people talking and the vehicles passing by.
If there was one thing that I have confirmed talking with the other mothers, it’s that stay-at-home mothers really get bored staying at home sometimes. I thought it was just me. They have it worst actually because their husbands are overseas. Me, I have my online activities to keep me preoccupied and if it weren’t for my husband expecting me at home when he arrives, I think I might have thought of going out to. Last night we were texting each other asking if the classes will be postponed today because of the coming storm and the next thing I knew two of them were downstairs inviting me to go out. They were taking advantage of the fact that there won’t be school today so they decided to go out. It was already 8 PM and S has just nodded off to sleep and my hands were still reeking with the oil I used to massage him when I received the text that they were outside waiting for me. True enough when I looked out in the terrace, there was a white Fortuner parked on the street and two of the mothers were there inside. I might have gone out with them if it weren’t too late. Maybe next time we can have a lunch out instead. Hmm, I wonder if S would approve?

wow, gimikerang mga mommies yun ah*lol*. ako rin, d ako basta2x nakakalabas though Ace insists that I should go out once in a while. Mas gusto ko pa rin gumala na kasama sya kaya inaantay ko nalang ang Saturday at Sunday para makalabas ng house.
