It was the height of Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton’s fight when we went on a road trip to Tagaytay with my FIL. I actually have a funny anecdote to share that happened during the fight. Since we’re on the road we missed the fight on TV but we contented ourselves by just listening to the blow-by-blow account on the local radio. It was just after the national anthem when my FIL decided to withdraw some money at the ATM by the road so he parked the car and went out, S took Chewee out too so that we can relieve himself so it was just Z and me inside the car listening. We were all anticipating a long fight so they took their time doing their errands. Needless to say history happened while they were out. I couldn’t believe myself when I heard that Pacquiao knocked him out for the first time and then the second. I was too stunned that I forgot to inform them. So when they got back it was already round two and now the whole world already knows what happened next.
Here are some of the shots we took at the Palace in the Sky.
