Fast Cars and Superchargers

Posted by on May 29, 2009 in Mixed Bag | 0 comments

I would love to ride one of those super fast cars that we see in movies. But how do those cars actually get to run so fast? I’m sure you have seen those shiny, metallic thing they add to their engines. It’s called a supercharger and according to Wiki:

A supercharger is an air compressor used for forced induction of an internal combustion engine. The greater mass flow-rate provides more oxygen to support combustion than would be available in a naturally-aspirated engine, which allows more fuel to be provided and more work to be done per cycle, increasing the power output of the engine.

When I buy my dream mercedes car I would definitely attach a supercharger in it. I will get it from superchargerpros.com since they sell superchargers at a great price and have excellent customer service.

Eat All You Can at Chowking Eastwood

Every time we go out we eat at different fast food chains. We used to eat together at whatever fast food chain Z picked but I realized we can still eat together if I just take out the food I want, this way everyone will be satisfied. Anyway, for a couple of months now I have been taking out food from Chowking consistently and ordering the same thing – Crunchy Breaded Pork Lauriat. I love that I get to eat different things at the same time and only for P100. I can’t resist ordering this every week and I think in the following weeks to come.

I Wish We have Direct TV

Posted by on May 29, 2009 in Mixed Bag | 0 comments

One of our problems in our apartment is our TV signal. We have given up our cable subscription ever since we moved to a new apartment and we decided not to apply for a new subscription. I wanted an outdoor antenna so we can have a clear signal but for some reason S wanted the little antenna that you just put on top of the TV. We bought the small one and we’re lucky to get two clear channels from our TV. It brought something good in our TV-watching household because it discouraged us from watching too much television. In fact, it came to a point when we didn’t want to watch TV anymore. We sleep as early as 8pm and a lot of times we don’t even have the heart to finish the evening news. But sometimes I wish we have Direct tv subscription. If we have direct tv I would surely be able to watch the programs that I used to love and so much more.

Tagaytay Trip

It was the height of Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton’s fight when we went on a road trip to Tagaytay with my FIL. I actually have a funny anecdote to share that happened during the fight.
