I Signed up with SocialSpark
I really enjoy being a stay at home mom, I am happy that my toddler and I are always together and I do not have any guilt of leaving him to a yaya just like before when I was still working. But quitting my work means we have to live on one income so we have to make a bit of adjustments in our lifestyle. But still I wanted to find ways to earn at home so I can enjoy both worlds so when I heard about SocialSpark, I signed on right away. SocialSpark is a social marketing network where you can not only meet advertisers for your blog but you can also interact with fellow bloggers.
It has been just a few days that I have signed with SocialSpark but I have already met a couple of friends. I was surprised when I opened my email and there were a few messages from fellow bloggers, whom I did not even know, saying that they would like to add me as a friend and they were propping my blog. In case you do not know, a prop is like a positive vote for your blog. It has been fun checking out their blogs and and giving out props as well.
If you already have a blog and want to sign up for SocialSpark, just go here and fill up a registration form. You will receive a validation email and then you can add your blog. Just so you will know I will post here SocialSpark’s code of ethics:

I have to go now, see you there!
Read MoreGlobe Broadband’s Crappy Service
We had problems again with our Globe Broadband connection yesterday. Our phone does not have a dial tone either. My husband and I are really getting tired of this, it seems every week we have to call Globe customer service. The service is getting crappier each time, before they used to come in our house to fix it, then they said they will just go to the cabinet and fix it there then call us afterwards to check if it is fixed. Now we do not receive any calls from them anymore even with our numerous complaints. Just a few hours ago I checked to see and I was relieved to find out our internet is back but there is still no dial tone. I am confused if they have come to fix it or not yet because we still have not heard from them and our phone is still dead. Tried calling Globe customer service but no one’s answering. I can’t wait to get out of the contract and find a better provider. Do you have any suggestions?
Read MoreCarbon Neutral Search – The Eco Friendly Search Engine
As a frequent internet user I was unaware of the ill-effects my activities have on our environment. For example, just by making a search query in different search engines produces a fraction of a gram of Carbon Dioxide. As we all know, increased Carbon Dioxide in the Environment is thought to be the main proponent of global warming. We all have felt the effect of global warming like climate changes and rise in temperature. So in my own little way I want to help by using an eco-friendly Search Engine called Carbon Neutral Search which will offset equal to or greater than 100 gram for each query you process. Carbon Neutral will be able to do this by initially teaming up with Climate Care and Carbon Fund which are both successful in carbon offsetting.
Using this search engine will help us do our own little thing in saving the environment, it will not affect our searches in any way because it is still powered by Google. Do not think that your role is insignificant because this will only be successful if more – if not all of us – do it. As of May, they have already served 25,000 searches and that is already equal to 7,962 kg of carbon dioxide offset.
Smile!
Now that Z is growing up and getting smarter he would not listen to everything I say, before when I say, “Smile, I’ll take your picture,” he’ll obediently do it. But now all he does is make faces so it has been pretty hard for me to get a decent picture of him. Like the last time we ate outside I again told him to smile as I get his picture – did he do as I say? Well, see for yourself.
Read MoreMy Cleaning Companion
I have always wanted a clean, organized house but now that I am a full time stay at home mom I have realized that that being said easy is still an understatement. It is just not easy to do everything myself, cook three times a day, wash dishes, do the laundry, take care of my toddler, accompany him to the playground, teach him to read, take care of my husband, and do my online job sometimes I really do not have the time to clean and mop the floors and I feel uncomfortable knowing that Z plays on the floor most of the time and I haven’t cleaned it in two days. One time I found out we were going to have visitors in a few hours, I just finished washing and folding my laundry so needless to say, I was tired and I haven’t taken a bath and the whole house is a mess! I had to run all over the house and clean everything just in time for the visitors. When the visitors left, I said to myself that it is time to get a companion – a trusty companion that will help me clean the house and would not bail out on me. Good thing I found this new cleaning technology from Dirt Devil , it is called Accucharge Stick Vac. It is an energy saver vacuum that only uses 70% energy that was why it has the much coveted approval of Energy Star. It is easy to maneuver because it is cordless so I do not have to worry about my toddler playing with or tripping over the cord and I do not need to worry about cleaning even the hard to reach areas where my toddler likes to keep his mess. They also have a hand vac so you can easily clean table surfaces and even sofas. Now that I have my cleaning companion, I know that cleaning would definitely be easier. I don’t have to panic everytime company will come over and I do not have to feel guilty when my son plays on the floor.
